Pool in the Backyard

It was a beautiful day today, so I filled up the sandbox that the previous owners had left behind with water and we had a mini-pool party in the backyard.  It was the perfect size for Evelyn...Connor probably could have used more space, but he still had a lot of fun.

Evelyn hates it when grass touches her knees, so she crawls on her hands and feet when she is in the grass.  It looks pretty funny.

Connor loves playing with the hose.   It was fun until he drenched me with cold water.

I like that both kids have their tongues sticking out.

Waterfall

Andrew got the pond-less waterfall in the backyard working!  It sounds really nice and looks pretty.  Connor and Evelyn had a great time playing in the water.

Train Ride

We went on a fun train ride this weekend with the Lassins.  Connor had a blast!  

The train whistle made Connor nervous.  Every time he heard it would cover his ears.

Evelyn Walking!

Evelyn started taking a few steps yesterday on her own and I managed to catch her on camera this morning walking.  Isn't she cute!

Happy Birthday Connor!

Connor turned four today!  We had a fun family birthday party this evening with birthday presents and cake. Connor loved his golf clubs, his hot wheels wall track, and new big boy bike. We love you Connor!

Wow!  A new bike!

We walked to the park today and spent a fun afternoon with some ladies from our branch.  Connor had a blast playing with the other kids and feeding the baby geese.  

Playing at the park wore out both Connor and Evelyn.  On the walk home, Evelyn fell asleep and Connor wanted to take a nap on this handy bench by the Elementary School.  

Who Get's to Drive?

Connor is such a good big brother.  He let Evelyn ride in his car with him.  He even let Evelyn take the wheel.  Sometimes these two can play so nicely together.
